Demonstrable & Measurable Results

Our goal is to help every resident reach their therapy goals as soon as possible so they can quickly return home to their families. This goal is achieved with the help of our expert subacute rehab staff who see “patient discharge” as the climax of their dedicated relationship with each resident.

Short-stay residents are often individuals recovering from surgery or recently discharged from the hospital. Following a short convalescence at Oakwood, these residents are ready to go back home or to the community.

To help residents attain the best possible outcomes, our expert therapists develop goal-directed treatment plans that:

PROMOTE physical function and enhance the skills needed to perform daily activities.

OPTIMIZE strength, balance and mobility.

IMPROVE speech and swallowing.

DEVELOP new cognitive and behavioral strategies to compensate for any deficits.
