Clinical Psychologist

Newly arrived residents to Oakwood are often dealing with the aftermath of a life-changing event. To help residents and family members cope with their challenges, Dr. Darren Whaley is on hand to address their emotional needs through consultation and therapy. He works hand in hand with our social workers, Denice Carroll and Samantha Bylina, and our dedicated nursing team headed by Barbara Lorman to ensure that by the time every patient is ready to be discharged home, not only are they rehabilitated physically – but in a better state of mind.
